• Tball & Rookie Machine Pitch games are on a 1 hr. delay at Crittenden.

• Machine Pitch & Minors are at a 1 hr. delay at Mullins.

• Majors game times will stay as scheduled at the Bobby Gibson field.

Limited Concessions in the 2013 Season

Due to the loss of our concession stands last season and the fact that we will be playing at multiple ball parks this year there will be very limited concessions offered throughout the 2013 season. 

We will try to let everyone know of days or events that we will be offering concessions so that you can be prepared with bringing refreshments for your family and players.

Thank you for your patience as we will be in the rebuilding stage this year.

OPENING DAY GAME DELAYS

Unfortunately the cooler weather is back just in time for Opening Day. So, we have decided to move a few games around to try to make the games more comfortable for everyone. 

• ALL RMP & Tball Games are moved back 1 hr. 

• All Games at Piddle Park are moved back 1 hr. 

• ALL games at Bobby Gibson will play at their scheduled time.

PLEASE make sure your players are dressed warm on Saturday especially if they have an early game.

We are hopeful that the weather will permit teams to begin practicing. Practices that are held or cancelled will be at the discretion of your coach.

Rosters are coming!

Our Draft/Uniform sizing event went great! Thanks to all of you who came out and participated and made it a success.

The GCLL board is working behind the scenes to get the final rosters pulled together so that your coaches have your contact information. This means you should be hearing from your coach by mid to the end of this week (Feb. 28-March 1st).

If you do not hear from your coach by March 6th message us here or on our Facebook page to let us know.

GCLL Spirit wear

We will be selling spirit wear again this year and want to get the information out to you early so we can ensure that everyone has their spirit wear before the season starts. We will only be placing one order this year so please order soon if you want anything this year.

We will have a table set up at the Draft/Uniform Sizing event this Saturday (Feb. 23rd) at Sherman Elementary. We will have order forms and samples from last year for you to look at.

Please look at the order form and make plans to order this Saturday. We will take orders the week following for those of you who can not make it to the event. We will likely coordinate something with your coaches for you to turn in order forms.

The logo on this year's spirit wear will say 2013 as shown above. 

You can choose to have your name and player number printed on the back for an extra fee. 

Draft & Uniform Sizing Details

It's nearly springtime and that means it's time for some Grant County Little League! 

 

Thank you for registering either in person or online!  We will be closing registration on February 20, so if you know of anyone who hasn't gotten a chance to register please direct them to our blog so they can get their child(ren) signed up.  We appreciate your help in spreading the word.

 

Uniform sizing and draft day is right around the corner - February 23.  We are going to do it all in one day this year to save everyone the extra trip.  Following are the times for each division:

 

9:00    Teeball (Uniform sizing only)

10:00  Rookie Machine Pitch (Uniform sizing only) and Girls Fastpitch Softball (Draft, then uniform sizing)

11:00  Minor League Baseball (Draft, then uniform sizing)

1:00    Major League Baseball (Draft, then uniform sizing)

3:00    Machine Pitch Baseball (Draft, then uniform sizing)

 

Registration will remain open for pony league.  Registrants will be contacted at a later date with more information.

 

All events will take place at Sherman Elementary.  Please enter through the cafeteria.  Those participating in a draft, please bring your glove along and wear tennis shoes.

 

Please allow a few extra minutes when you arrive because we will have a station for you to check to make sure that your information on hand is correct.  (Contact names, phone numbers, and email addresses.)  We want to pass the correct information on to coaches and cut out any confusion later. 

 

If you haven't turned in a birth certificate or proof of residency, please bring them on this day.  You can also fill out parent code of conduct and volunteer forms.  

 

Also on this day, we will be selling spirit wear for the season.  This will be the only order that is placed this year.  We want to order early so everyone can have their spirit wear when the season starts.
