UNIFORMS & SPIRIT WEAR THIS WEEKEND!

THIS MESSAGE IS FOR COACHES AND TEAM MOMS ABOUT UNIFORMS

Coaches and/or Team Moms need to come up to Grant County Park tomorrow from 9:00 - 12:00 at Barn 2 to pick up your teams uniforms. We encourage you to wait and pass out your uniforms to your team at your next scheduled practice. Please do not invite parents to come put to Barn 2 at this time to pick up uniforms.

THIS MESSAGE IS FOR PARENTS ABOUT SPIRIT WEAR FORMS

If you (a parent) have NOT received a spirit wear order form and would like to order something you can come up to the Tball concession stand tomorrow from 9:00 - 12:00 and we will have extra order forms handy. WE CAN NOT accept straggling order forms after this weekend as we have to place a bulk order. At this time we are NOT planning on having another opportunity to order spirit wear. 

NOTE: ANY PARENT THAT COMES UP TO ORDER SPIRIT WEAR WILL HAVE TO WAIT TO RECEIVE THEIR CHILD'S UNIFORM. COACHES OR TEAM MOMS WILL PASS OUT UNIFORMS AT YOUR NEXT SCHEDULED PRACTICE! WE WILL NOT HAND OUT UNIFORMS TO INDIVIDUAL PLAYERS ON SATURDAY.

Raffle Ticket sales = League Bonus! It's a WIN / WIN

DID YOU KNOW: Our league gets financially rewarded for selling tickets!

I know that many of you have already started to sell tickets for our league. This fundraiser is great for our league because the league gets to keep 100% of the face value of each ticket! But it gets better...we were just made aware of an extra bonus! If we sell certain number of tickets we get more money for our league. See the flier below for more details.

Your board members have been hard at work not only identifying the needs that our league has but also making the improvements happen! You will (if you haven't already) begin to see how last years fundraising and sponsorships are improving our league. BUT there is so much more we can do to make sure that you and your kids not only have a great experience but are proud to be a part of Grant County Little League. We hope that the improvements that you see this year adds to your excitement about helping our league through fundraising.

Spirit Wear - FINAL DAYS TO ORDER!

This week is the final week to turn in your spirit wear order forms!! Please, if you have not received an order form, contact your coach or team mom to get one so that you don't miss out on this opportunity this year. The logo printed on the order forms is our league logo (orange and blue) therefore you can wear them year after year regardless of which team your child plays on.

OPENING DAY & PICTURE DAY

Most teams will play on Opening Day. There are a few MP and MAJORS teams who will start playing the week prior and will not play on Opening Day. All teams will have their pictures taken this day! We will have events ongoing throughout the day in addition to games and pictures. 

In case of rain: Pictures will be moved to the Cattle Barn in the very back of the park. Games will be played as determined by the weather.

• Kiwanis will be giving One FREE Hot Dog or Hamburger/Cheeseburger to each GCLL player. (player must be wearing their uniform or hat to receive the free food)

• Full concessions will be open all day. Including Hot Food.

• The Local Fire Departments will be there giving FREE tours of fire trucks

• The Local Fired Departments will also have inflatables available for the kids for FREE

Team Moms

We are so excited about the addition of the TEAM MOM role this year to each team. We know that this will have a positive impact on the team level and will greatly improve communication during the season.

We will be contacting our team moms this week to invite them to a meeting to discuss the expectations of this role. We have been so excited to see how excited you've been to sign up for these positions.
