Just wanted to share some exciting news... Our major division will now be 50/70 which will be more like real baseball, and will also open up the opportunity for some 13 year olds. Also, Little League International has made a rule change and we can only use bats that are stamped Usa bats in Major and Minor divisions, all other bats are now obsolete. For more information on these bats you can go to http://littleleague.org/site3.aspx

2018 Online Registration
Online registration will begin on 1-8-2018 and will close on 2-24-18. There will be a $10 late fee added to anyone registering after 2-17-18.
Divisions offered and fees:
TBall - Age 4 - $75.00
Rookie Coach Pitch - Age 5-6 - $75.00
Coach Pitch - Age 7-8 boys - $100.00
Minor Baseball - Age 9-10 boys - $115.00
Major Baseball - Age 11-13 boys - $115.00
Minor Softball - Age 7-10 girls - $100.00
Major Softball - Age 11-12 girls - $100.00
We do offer a sibling discount of $10.00.

Fall Ball Registration
2017 Fall Ball registration will start June 12th and run through July 21st. Online registration is the only way to sign your kids up for Fall Ball, there will be no live registrations.
This year we are offering fall ball for the following divisions:
Coach Pitch (7-8 year old boys)
Minor Baseball (9-10 year old boys)
Major Baseball (11-12 year old boys)
10U Girls Softball (7-10 year old girls)
All divisions have a fee of 50 per child, with no discount for siblings. The league will start on August 19th and end October 7. Fall Ball will not have a tournament.

10U Softball Recognition Night
We will be recognizing our 10U softball teams on Thursday Night, May 5th at the Grant Co Lady Braves vs. Williamstown Lady Demons game played at Grant Co High School.
Players and Coaches MUST wear their jerseys to get free admission to the game. Teams will be announced prior to the game and players will be allowed to go on the field to their positions and stand with both high school teams as the anthem is played.
Come out and support our community while we recognize our 10U softball girls during the Lady Braves and Lady Demons game. Game starts at 5:30, and the kids should be there by 5.

You can complete forms the day of pictures or print a copy and bring it with you. All parents received a copy in their email, but you can also get a copy here. Coaches will let you know what time and where to be for your session.

2016 Spring Little League Rule Changes
Drafting
T-Ball (Ages
4-5) and Rookie Coach Pitch (Age 6) will not be drafted. Players qualifying for each of these
divisions will be automatically placed on teams.
Coach Pitch, Minor and
Major League Baseball, Minor and Major League Softball
In years
past, we have put every kid back into the draft and they are placed on new
teams each year. This year each player
will be given the option to stay on the team they were on during the 2015
Spring season, as long as they are staying in that division.
Any player
going into their first year for that division will be in the draft. If your
child played Minor league baseball last year and will be playing minor league
baseball again in 2016, they have the choice to stay on their team, or re-enter
the draft to be selected by a new team.
The same
applies for Coach Pitch, Minor/Major League Baseball, and both Softball
divisions.
Softball Age/Rule
changes
Our Softball
division has grown by leaps and bounds the last couple of years, and with that,
we have modified rules as necessary to accommodate the growing league.
Minor League Softball will include any girl age 7-9 and
this division will start the first couple of weeks as coach pitch with the
coaches developing pitchers. After the
few couple of weeks, the coaches will decide when to bring in kid
pitchers. The rule to allow a coach to
pitch after 3 balls pitched by the player will still apply. We feel this helps the games at the younger
age to progress and not allow the kids to get bored. All other rules for this division will be the
same as 2015 Spring.
Major League Softball will include any girl age 10-12. We
want to get this division to a place where we can start competing in all-star
tournaments. Unfortunately, due to our
modified rules, it is very difficult to find tournaments for our girls. For the 2016 Spring season, we will allow
this division to play by high school rules.
This will be a kid pitch only division.
Batters will take a walk after 4 balls.
We will allow stealing at all bases, and we will play with the dropped 3rd
strike and the batter can run to first as long as first is open.
Online
registration will start on January 11th, and we will have 2 live
registrations January 23rd and February 6th, prior to
draft day on February 27th.

TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALL GAME!!!
We opened last week with beautiful weather and a lot of smiling faces as teams took the field in excitement and anticipation of the first pitch, the first out, the first at bat!
We would like to thank all of our parents/grandparents/aunts/uncles/etc. for your patience during the pre-season transition. It is a lot of work coordinating practice and game times, uniform sizing, ordering and delivery, gathering coaches and assistants, and picture days for 8 divisions and over 30 teams. While it all may not go as smooth as we hope, we are still able to put smiles on the kids faces and that's the most important thing.
As the season gets started and we have the potential for game cancellations and make-up games, due to weather, we will do our best to post all cancellations on our facebook page as soon as we make the decision. Please visit our page by clicking on the facebook link in the left column or by clicking here.
Remember a good rule of thumb is if you do not hear from your coach, then the game is still on. We have a few fields that drain very well and while it may rain early in the day, by afternoon the fields could be fine. Please do not assume your child's game is cancelled.
