We opened last week with beautiful weather and a lot of smiling faces as teams took the field in excitement and anticipation of the first pitch, the first out, the first at bat!
We would like to thank all of our parents/grandparents/aunts/uncles/etc. for your patience during the pre-season transition. It is a lot of work coordinating practice and game times, uniform sizing, ordering and delivery, gathering coaches and assistants, and picture days for 8 divisions and over 30 teams. While it all may not go as smooth as we hope, we are still able to put smiles on the kids faces and that's the most important thing.
As the season gets started and we have the potential for game cancellations and make-up games, due to weather, we will do our best to post all cancellations on our facebook page as soon as we make the decision. Remember a good rule of thumb is if you do not hear from your coach, then the game is still on. We have a few fields that drain very well and while it may rain early in the day, by afternoon the fields could be fine. Please do not assume your child's game is cancelled.
