Uniforms

Uniforms are in!

The uniforms that are in have been, or are being, picked up by the coaches. You will receive your child(s) uniforms from your coach. Unfortunately there are a few T-ball teams who's shirts are on back order. Those teams/players will be given regular t-shirt (still with GCLL logo on them) for them to wear until their uniforms come in.

We are very excited about the uniforms this year. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

Updated Picture Day Schedule

We've been very busy getting ready for Opening Day.
Here are a few pictures of what we've been up to.

We've used part of our storage building to
house two batting cages!
Boy, that's come in handy with all this rain lately.

Picture Day Update

As many of you may have noticed there have been several conflicts with our original picture day, 4/23. We have spoken with the photographer and he is available on May 7th, yes we know this is Derby Day, but this was his ONLY other available day. We are hoping to find out more tomorrow about where we will have the pictures taken but we are hoping to keep the same scheduled time slots. Please stay in touch with the blog, facebook, your email and of course your coach for updates. We are trying to resolve this as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience.

GENERAL UPDATES

Softball
Girls will start practicing this week. We are still accepting Softball registrations if you know of someone who would like to play please let them know to contact us soon.

Concessions
We are pleased to announce that we will have concessions at the Grant County Park this year. Locations and what we serve are TBD dependent on the amount of volunteers we receive but we are very excited to offer this to our Little League families this year. If you would like to volunteer please let us know. We are hoping to have a large volunteer pool so that folks will only be asked to work a few times the whole season.
A shout out to: Cathy Hoehn, Shawn McHolland, Jenny McHolland,
Jamey Lewis, Sheila Lewis, Josh Powers, and Melissa Carmichael for
helping us start preparing the concession building. A special
thank you to Tina Helmer (someone who's "been there, done that!" in the concession arena) for taking the time out of her day to give us some GREAT advice.

Ball Fields
We have been busy preparing the ball fields for opening day. New fences are being put up and we are grooming the fields. If you would like to help with ball field maintenance please let us know.

A shout out to: Brenden Durnell, Brian MaGee, Wesley Beach, James Rice,
and Jamey Lewis for helping to install fencing the last two weekends.
